About Me
I’m Brooke and I am an Assembly of God missionary to Belize and an ordained minister. The Lord called me to missions in Latin America at a young age and I immediately began preparing for life as a missionary. I have a BA from Northwest University in Intercultural Studies and Children and Family Ministries and an MA from Southeastern University in International Family Ministry. I began as a missions intern in 2012 and have served in Central America as a MAPS worker, MA, and Career MA, before becoming a General Appointed Missionary with AGWM.
The Ministry
Over the past few years, I have been serving in Belize working to create children's ministry standards and policies for our churches across the country and training children’s ministry leaders. The Belize Assembly of God has about 50 churches throughout the very small country and we are working hard to build them up and resource each church with the tools they need to reach kids in their communities. We want to see each of our churches with a thriving and effective children's ministry.
In addition to working on the national level, I also work with ChildHope (formerly known as LACC). ChildHope provides Christian education, school uniforms, backpacks, supplies, and lunch for school children in need. I have the privilege of working with our schools to create a discipleship framework so that every child in our schools experience Christ and mentoring through the local church. If you would like to know more about ChildHope or how to sponsor a child in Belize, follow this link childhopeonline.org
Lastly, I have started a new ministry called CREW (Children's Resource, Empowerment, and Wellbeing). CREW began as an after-school club to fill a need in one school and has developed into a project that mobilizes the local churches to reach and support families in their communities in a holistic and sustainable way.
